Cruise control

Just bought cruise control stalk and wiring loom for my 2004 3.0 (unfortunately,a month after they stopped putting the loom in). Does it require coding when it's fitted does anyone know? Also, anyone know a place near ish to Guildford area that can fit it? Cheers

No it doesn't need coding, any reference to that is just updating the Vehicle Order. It's a fiddly DIY but not difficult, certainly not worth paying a lot for.
If you can make it up Harrow way I'm sure I could beat any fitting quotes :wink:

As previous it does not require coding by dealer. Some dealers will tell you it does though.
