hi welcome to the forum

there are some good post on cruise control, do a search, i think yours will just be plug and play

Heres a link to the parts required;

http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E85/Roadster/Europe/Z4_2.0i-N46/RHD/N/2005/july/browse/distance_systems_cruise_control/installing_set_cruise_control/

As Taz says a quick search you show you 'how to' etc. Cost of bits about £70 but it pays to shop around. Contact Joe at Sopers BMW Lincoln, who is doing good deals for Forum members on parts.

Edit: And if you do need the additional wiring the part number is: 61 12 0 394 848

AND Welcome to the Forum!

you would need the addition loom if you car was built after Oct 2004 - build date can be found on the wheel arch under the bonnet (nearside IIRC)

and welcome to the forum :D

I can report that I have just done this successfully in my 04 plate Z4 3.0!

Thanks for this MOD guys !!!!!

BTW cost in the UK is £70 for stick, DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THE Cowling, just cut the existing one, it already has the coutout marks!!!

Adamski,

hello there

can you please explain your mods:

Done:Stubby|Sound Gen|Clear Side-Repeaters|Cruise|ZHP|CDV

thanks

Stubby aerial vs the standard 'whip' aerial.
Cruise control fitted
Sound generator foam removed - nice roar inside the cabin now
Clear side repeaters - the orange side indicator repeaters have been swapped for clear ones
CDV - a nasty clutch delay valve has been removed
ZHP - weighted gear knob for better hear shifts

:)
