Cruise control stalk

Have you tried Harry Fairburn, they’re up your way and I think they used to do a discount. You will also need the wiring which may have been discontinued, dealer will know.

Thanks Steve .... spoke to them.
But more expensive than their rival down the road :D .
I was being stingy and hoping someone might have a used one on the shelf somewhere.
Looks like I'll have to cough up for a new one though.
Thanks again for the suggestion though.
Ian.

Last week my BMW dealer installed the cruise (BMW Z4M). New is better, and isnt costs not that much ;). Your already lucky, because i think in a 2007 2.0 its a easy (plug-play an needs some code work(?)) installation.

I got one from autodalys.it in the summer for about £90, don’t know what their current price is. If yours is a post facelift (2007=yes) you will need the wiring loom as well. Srhutch on here makes them up and sells them for about £20. It’s about an hour’s work to fit yourself, a bit fiddly to do it properly but nothing technically difficult.

Any E85/6 built after October 2004 will need the loom. No coding required on any model though.

To amplify this: the TIS coding reference is related to updating the VO - it works fine without it though. And is a cheaper mod than from the factory!
