cruise control retrofit - program/encode???

Hi,

Just reading the instructions for a cruise control retrofit on a 05 2.0. at the end they say:

"This retrofit system requires coding. - Program/encode the retrofit with ISSS (integrated software service station via the - retrofit/CIP path."

Ahhhh! Does this mean it needs to be installed by a dealer?

Standard stuff they add. The same they said from the SatNav retrofits as well, quite expensive coding work as well.

None required - you will be all good (assuming you have added the cables required ...)
 
I'm with the other guys here, when I did mine a few months ago no coding needed.

Best value for money you can do IMO.
 
I did a retrofit guide a while ago on the forum with pics and explanations. Search for that, not sure quite where it is but it will help you. :)
