Crimson Red vs Melbourne Red

If i had another Z, it would be Melbourne red metallic, kansas beige interior.
Only thing puts me of red i had Jap import MR2. Solid paint would go chalky, putting me off red cars.

Here is my 35is in Canberra Red and Kansas Beige (that I am selling in June) so you can judge.

I had Melbourne Red on my F20 and it really is a stunning colour and would choose it over crimson although imola red.........

Saying all of that though as much as I like reds I am just not so sure that they suit the lines of E89 Z4 that well, but hey ho that's just me.

I like a change but am soon drawn back to red. Don’t you think some cars suit some colours better than others? Silver is one of my favourites too but no matter how hard I try I can never get the it to shine like red or black.

My last Zed was a Crimson 28i with a beige leather interior and loved it. Always thought the slightly darker red polished up a lot better and never saw another one the same colour.

Oh I know this isn’t the answer to the question, however I give you San Francisco Red

I definitely prefer Melbourne Red to Crimson Red, although I now prefer Canberra Red to both!

Imola Red would have been my ideal colour for my MC - loved it on my E46 Compact (and my nephew's Touring). :)

Ended up going with the Melbourne Red option and very happy with it - definitely the brightest Zed I've owned  20220327_154511.jpg

I know it's a bit late but it took some time to find a photo of my Crimson 28i.
