Just had my 2006 2.5si zed for 2 weeks . 37k on the clock and loving it!!
Just the past 2 days I have started hearing a creaking/crackling notice behind my ear where the window joins the back roof and also from the passenger side.
I have read on here could be to do with the tempreture drop ? It was fine for two weeks I had the car but all if a sudden started . Even crackles when on even roads ...
Heard it maybe the window rubber seals? Maybe clean them or grease them up ? If yes then what product is good to use ? Or is this a weather thing regarding tempreture drop .. It's ok when windows are down but when up then house returns .. It's not too loud but still annoying .
Was thinking about taking it to BMW but rather try and sort it out myself ..
Living the car but the nouse disappoints me .. Would the window seals along the roof need to be lubricated? Some mouse even comes from the front section which joins the front windscreen .
