Creaking front end solved

I been getting a creak from what I thought to be the suspension bushes, it's been gradually getting worse and quite noticeable from inside the car, I had the wishbones and anti roll bar bushes checked by a local indy and no problem. :wink:

Last night and checking under the bonnet I put my hand on one of the strut braces and noticed a very similar sound, a 1/4 turn on the nut to tighten it up and hey presto .........noise gone. :thumbsup:

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same?
 
No one likes their front end to creak. My problem is rusty nuts.

But then I'm old. :roll:

Have you tried a wire brush on your rusty nuts? :cry:

WD40 might be the first choice though. :thumbsup:

Yep, drove me nuts.
 
Yes amazing what a small tweak with a socket can do,tightened mine 18 months back no knocking since.
