Looks bad to me 
mind you I am not that technically minded. Front wheel looks to be at a funny angle, so could be something bent plus rear side body damage. plus all the things you can't see on the pics. Would be interesting to see what the cost would be to put back on the raod, mind you if it wasn't going to be that much I would have thought the garage selling it would have fixed it up, could be there may be not much profit in it at the end. Perhaps an interesting project for the winter for someone

Looks pretty fecked to me... The condition of the firewall strut is not encouraging at all. Reckon the chassis is probably totally buggered...
If they break it, see if you can get first dibs on the carbon leather trim though :wink:

to fix that you can say goodbye to 5000 plus in parts then another 3000 in labour and materials, add that to the purchase price and youve got retail price for a cat c or d, financial suicide ! The only two people who will make money out of that are the salvage company selling it , who by the way ,paid 10% of the figure the insurers paid out on the claim. and the mickey mouse traders that "repair" it on the cheap cutting every corner possible ,using secondhand parts ,including sections cut off another write off, straightening items such as wishbones etc to avoid buying new ones, then get stevie wonder to mot it. then put the story out that it was light panel damage only, two bumpers and a wing mate, i cant understand why the insurance company wrote it off scenario type bollocks.
I got stuffed with an mx5 a few years ago by a girl wh worked at asalvage yard, all the staff were at it as they had the pick of the salvage, bunch of bastards all of them. steer well clear. :thumbsdown:

I would agree with what others have said,looks beyond it...chasis/firewall look buggered.
And you can buy a straight 08 reg for around 17k or less,with low miles,similar to this 1 was. not even likely to break even,i would think/unless as said u do all work yourself,get access to a jig,etc free,and then you still have a car thats going to be hard to sell. unless ur a dodgy machanic/bodyshop,who doesnt care(and will fix it on the cheap) :thumbsdown:

unfortunately there are hundreds of those types of garages around and i think it should be illegal for any seriosly damaged vehicle to ever go back on the road. we all know one in most towns , invairably a lot of them are the same ones not paying any tax either so if they were closed down they wouldnt be missed very much as they dont contribute very much to society , rant only just started ! :x
