Crash bang wallop! what a video!

Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
Wallop @ 1.30. Looks like an Z4 Alpina but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before.

Anyone from here and kept it quiet? If so, I dunno what's more embarrasing; losing it there or that cherry-red paintjob on your helmet.
Either way, must have been gutting. Never an easy thing to swallow in retrospect and all those Ferrari boys jumping off the recovery wagon back at the car-park with their bent 360 Challenge Stradales who were nonchalantly saying 'Yeah, I'll be back with a new one next week, you just know they were dying inside.

Those off-camber bends around Adenauer are tricky at the best of times, let alone in the wet.
That guy blipping the throttle on the bend in the snow was just a wallop waiting to happen I'm afraid. :o

The car at 1:30 is the same Z4MR that's been shown in video on here for about 4 years :P

AutoAddiction (and others) are simply creating compilation videos to keep their Youtube revenues trundling along whilst they can't add any new material due to the track being shut and visitors not allowed.

Yup. Seen that Red one and a few of the others before. :?

Still better than reading about a bunch of commies in Davos.

I feel for the people who crashed. However, on the bright side if some of the cars are totaled then more parts for our cars. It is a gamble even with the daily drives we do. I for one would love to have a track day but if do it. I would find one of the places that have a day or two school training then rent one of their cars. But that is just my thoughts.

Part of the appeal of using your own car is that you get to know how it handles at the edge of control, but in a relatively safe environment.

If you use another vehicle, then there's not as much to take away to inform you of your own vehicle's characteristics.

You can of course always buy vehicle/personal injury insurance.

mmm-five: I can understand and appreciate your comments. And yes knowing what your car can do must be a rush pushing it to the limits. But for me if I every did take my car to a track not sure would push it past what I thought could control. With out some training first. Again just my thoughts. But I can appreciate the people who do take to the track and enjoy the thrill. And in no way am putting them down.
