Crappy Christmas Tree

I know there are financial cuts but some group of penny pinching scrooges have erected an "arty farty" official Christmas tree in Durham's High street area - Its about 5m high and constructed from stuffed cheap plastic shopping bags from some major retailers.

They would have been better not bothering. Its a laughable excuse for festive cheer!

I've seen the tree I think it was part of the Lumiere the festival of light back in November but they obviously decided to keep it on for Christmas LOL

A novel idea, doesn’t look that bad lit up, not sure what it would look like during the day without the lights
