Just been tinting the rear lights this afternoon and stepped away without properly checking if one of the lights was where it should be when... SMASH!!!! The light dropped and lens is all over the show     Have some impact glue on hand so will trty ymy best to sort it for a quick fix today so i can still drive etc. Thinking that the tint should hide it somewhat (depending on how good a job i do on glueing it together again) :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

JUST CR@P!!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Don't know weather to cry, be angry, laugh?! Lol! I guess the latter at the min. Stupid mistake and I'll just have to try fix it best as I can!

Oh dammit. That would heart brake me!

If not you can buy the same rear light I have, pre-smoked and ready to roll for like £140 delivered. The smoke is built within the plastic itself and lets all light shine through! :D

Could you upload a picture of them on your car and a link if you get time ? Would be interesting to see how they look

thanks

Serves you right for trying to ruin them :P
Major bad luck that tho
Hahaha! Yea some may say!

I know, bad luck and a stupid mistake! One more coat of tint to put on and then I'll take a pic of what it looks like on the car! Little bit missing on the very bottom that I can't find anywhere so will have to silicone for the time being :(

Oh crap... thats bad luck.

Thats not to bad fix you have made though... If you could add some resin on the bottom to fill that gap and colour it red then tint it then wouldnt be so noticable.

Thanks Brad, I didn't think they would be that dark but they look nice on your car. I will wait to see Luke's result with a spray. Not sure if they would look good on my car with it being all black, I want to avoid the ghetto look.

Thanks again mate

Resin is a good idea. Will jump on eBay and get hold of some

First side is now done and in (unbroken side!) just gotta let the other side dry for another half hour then pop it on and shoe what it looks like.

That's real bad luck Luke, it's the sort of thing that normally happens to me. Hope you manage to put the lens back together again

Nice job on the repair. I bet you had that proper heart in mouth feeling, quickly followed up by a lot of best quality swearing.
