does the music need to be in mp3 format? ive had no issues with sandisk usbs & mp3 files arranged as yours...

New to using USB - last night I copied a folder direct from my itunes library onto a cheapy usb stick and plugged it in and it worked, album art as well.

Didn't convert the files, they are in .mp4 format, which I think is the same as aac?

Folder structure as above, \artist\album\tracks.mp4

Only listened to 1 song so far, so dont know if its reliable.

I use itunes match, so the files will be 256.
