Courtesey Light in Boot

My battery has been drained overnight for the last few nights. I think the boot light is staying on but its hard to tell without getting inside .
Should the light operate in sync with the internal light or is there another switch somewhere?. Thanks.

Put your phone onto video start it recording and shut it in the boot with the camera pointing at the light, give it a minuet open the boot and watch the playback, won't be a very exciting watch but you'll know if the light goes out or not.

You can also use the same technique on your fridge to answer that old age question

Take the bulb out and then see if the battery runs down. Simples

Wire in some LED strips, the boot light is crap!
