Coupe - Leaking drivers door/window into footwell

Hello All

Noticed the other day drivers footwell was a bit wet in one spot, when it rains there is a constant dribble of water underneath the door and then onto the foot well.

Pretty sure leak in coming from the seal on the window nearest to the wing mirror.

Does any one know how to fix this? Cost?

I had the same leak on my roadster,if the water is sitting on the rubber seal then running over and onto the carpet then there is a good chance it is the inside of the door.
behind the door card is a thin foam membrane that should hold water in the door ,so that it channels through drain holes.
However this membrane comes unstuck at the bottom and then you get the leak inside car.
The fix is to remove door card and reseal membrane back to door ,this is pretty simple fix,some good how too,s on you tube for removing door card.
Buy some clips for door card prior to removal as some may snap ,only a couple of quid for 5.
On mine you could see where the water had been running down door leaving a dirty mark, so you should see that this is your problem . :thumbsup:
 
I had a similar water issue, but my door menbrane checked out ok, so I raised the rubber seal up slightly which resolved the issue for me and a few other members http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63712 :thumbsup:
