Coupe Involved In Police Chase!!

A couple of weeks ago whilst waiting to enter a roundabout, a car went round me in the wrong side of the road quickly followed by a police are. The car being pursued then got boxed in in front of me with the police car to the right and traffic on the roundabout in front. The driver of the vehicle then decided the best way to escape was to reverse in to me. Twice.😂
This cause some damage to my front bumper and front off side head lamp. After lots of shouting and pepper spray the driver was on the floor being cuffed.
All very dramatic for a Sunday afternoon.
Also some time before somebody had decided to drive down the side of my car. My coupe is an accident magnet at the moment!!
Any way; just got the Z back from the menders, only had to pay one excess as the driver being chased by the police was uninsured and my policy has an excess waiver if that’s the case. Off side door, wing and front bumper all repaired and resprayed and a new front lamp and side repeater. Looks like a great job, nice smooth paint. The front offside three quarters look like new again 😀

'kin flipflops on him! The pikey.
That's just sub-chav. WPC even looking down bemused at them.

I bet you were well pi**ed off at the time :o . No doubt the tw*t just got a slap on wrist :headbang: . They really should make these people pay for all damage caused & the police costs, even if it means halving their hard earned benefits until it's all paid up!
Glad you got yours sorted though & are happy with the result

Yes my biggest worry at the time was it would be written off as it’s a high mileage car. Would’ve been galling as I bought new wheels and tyres not long ago.

Ah right, so the copper the other side is still 'restraining' the driver.
I hope it was Kiwi Parade Gloss flavoured restraint!

You should have asked the WPC if you could give a kick in the b@lls  .

Is the whole thing about being a WPC is she doesn’t have any :poke:
I can tell you, from where I was sitting she had a pair of jumbo trouser potatoes. :)

  Just my smart arse sense of humour. That’s one of the things I like about this forum, there’s a bit of craic without the “offended” attitude

That's just cr*p OP.

But at least you have your car back and are happy with it.

Hopefully the tw*t had to be forcibly restrained, and hopefully your car loses it's magnetism!

A sad day when it's BMW vs BMW. The Daily Mail (and similar) would have an absolute field day with that. Because it's always more about the car brand (if it's BMW, Porsche etc) than the actual event  :x .
Glad that you got your Zed sorted

Thanks Mr Tidy, yes he was face down in the road after being pulled from the car. He definitely got a mouthful of grit or two. And yes let’s hope the old Z loses it magnetic field as it hasn’t looked so good for ages.

Sometimes it's just not your day.
Most definitely not my day. And to ad insult to injury, after I gave the statement which took 2 hours, they made me do a breathalyser test while standing next to my car which was still on the roundabout as everybody past. Oh the humiliation

At least you can see the funny side. Hope it's sorted soon.
