Coupe Boot/Trunk Glass

I've got a few issues with my rear glass, it started off there were 2 breaks in the 2 of the copper tracking, not too bad but now there are few more, I have no idea how or why it's happening. I've tried a repair kit but it was bollox to be honest.

Has anyone else has any issues like this?

So I'm going to order a new glass or maybe speak to my insurance. Does anyone know how it's fitted? Is it bonded in? Or pulled in on fixings etc?

WHen you say insurance...Car insurance as in accident/theft insurance- not a prayer, it's failed, not been damaged in an accident, lost stolen or set on fire.
Warranty/insurance maybe. Depends on the policy
Have you cleaned the glass inside with anything?

Yes car insurance...it could get damaged :lol:

A new glass is not actually that expensive. The 2 tracks I knew about when I bought the car, with the rest of the car being mint with 19k I wasn't going to turn it down because of this. But its strange how there are now more, like weak spots are burning out.

The only cleaner I use is Meguires Fast Glass but I've never used anything different on other cars.

I'm more interested to know how it's fitted so I have an idea of whether I can fit it myself or have BMW/Autoglass do it.
