Couldn't wait for the retrimmed steering wheel

And saw this on eBay and had it fitted tonight...didn't go for the entire black wheel, kept the brushed still look bits

No thankfully....watching the guy do it, not as easy as some people make it sound. Also, it trips the airbag warning lights, so you will need a reset afterwards. I kept the steel trim around the multifunction buttons as I liked the contrast.

Don't know if the old steering wheel is worth much.....any thoughts?

Looks good, post some more pictures as to what it looks like in daylight if you can.

I'm sure the old steering wheel will find a new home if you put it up on ebay.

I liked the idea, and after seeing it at Silverstone its got me wondering. I do feel though that the M wheel is just a bit too 'phat' for my liking and I think I'd prefer the standard wheel just reupholstered with a touch more padding when the time comes (its getting slightly shiny now so I may do this sooner than later). That way it should be somewhere in the middle, not quite as thick as the M wheel, but thicker than the standard wheel with extra comfiness :) That royal wheel website though has some very nicely done wheels, not a bodge job in sight.

Gary I swapped back to the SE wheel, slightly thicker but not as thick as the M wheel, and all new leather, which is lovely.....I'll take some pics later today
