Correct Offset to fill the arch

Hi I'm new to all this but have recently purchased a Z4M Coupe in Red and want to change the wheels but i am really confused with all the different offsets offered and don't want to buy the wrong thing. I was looking at BBS LM split rims but it's not a cheap do so need to make sure i get it right . I am in a dilemma about the size as well 18" or 19" , I'm guessing 18" will keep a nice ride and thats what it was designed to run on but 19" look nice . I have just sold my rally car so I'm more function than looks kind of guy. Can anyone advise me

Cheers

Matt

Hi and welcome..

My car is lowered on Eibach pro kit with front 19 x 8.5 ET 30, ( 235 x 35 x 19) , rear 19 x 9.5 ET 15 ( 275 x 30 x 19)

19 inch wheels do make the drive noticeably firmer or harsher. The pic will help you see how it looks and no issues at all with the wheels catching or rubbing

Best of luck

Thanks for your reply , its giving me a et32 front and back on the BBS LM wheels with a 8.5 on the front 9.5 on the rear or if i run a 10" on the back a et25 any ideas ?? is a 10" to wide

When I bought mine I was told that the car could take 10 inch rims on the rear without issue with a 275 tyre however I would imagine there is the possibility the tyre would catch on the inner arch so I wouldn't go for the 10 inch rear rim. There are other members with far greater experience in this area and you will get the benefit of their knowledge once they've looked at your post
