Will they fit an early 2004 car without messing around with the wiring?
The SE seats are one of the cars worst features.
 
You'd need a seat occupancy sensor bypass for the passenger seat to stop the possibility of getting an airbag light.

I have found the bypass units from mats-emulators to be good and reliable:

It's not always guaranteed that you need a bypass because sometimes it will work but if you don't have a code reader to clear the airbag light then I would advise to get the bypass.
