Bought my first BMW here. Good service until deposite was taken, then much more slack. Offered me 800 quids worth of free stuff for taking finance out. Ten when picked the car up they had added the 800 quid to the finance and made out they had reduced theinteret rate to cover this so tha it was still free. This was all rubbish and finally got 500 quid back after going to dealer principle but they were very under handed. Cars now had to go back after under 3 months for warranty work already. And they will not repair a rattle as v had the car too long according to them. Would never use them again or buy a car from them, all they seem interested in is takin your money. Steer clear if I was you

Only had very brief dealings with them after looking at one car so can't really comment, but would suggest you pursue the rattle, have you any idea where it's coming from as it could even be structual (under bonnet bracing loose).

write to the dealer principal @ Cooper Tunbridge wells and demand an explanation and mention if this is not resolved, you will contact BMW UK both via customer services and if not to Tim Abbott, CEO BMW UK (I can give you his email address).

I have used Cooper Norwich and apart from one specific service advisor, never had a satisfactory visit, although they get the job done but never straight forward.

I have already written to BMW uk on their website to ask about rattles not being covered as there is no mention on the BMW website that rattles are not covered by the AUC warranty so will see wha they comeback with

stick with it till you get an answer, although I would try the dealer first then customer services.

Had the manifold fixed, came in at 780 pounds without vat luckily the warranty covered this, was told the rattle would cost 120 to diagnose and then however long to fix and wasn't covered. I told them not to bother, when I picked the car up the rattle was gone so can only assume they diagnosed it and put it back assuming I would say to fix it. When I picked the car up the chap got he car out and apologied it had not been washed. It has been with them all week and sitting in their yard so was filthy, was it impressed. He did say to drop it back and they would wash it. I won't be going there for my services.

That's a real shame to hear that, both me and my brother have bought cars from the same person there and they couldn't do enough for us, I'm really surprised at this. If you don't mind me asking who did you deal with.

Alex Taylor and the finance block was Mathew cue. Had the front bumper resprayed the other day as the laquer started coming off and they have made a right mess of it with now what look likes two different colours on the bumper, am really not impressed
