I've completed 4000 miles on these since fitting a couple of months ago for around £460 fitted.
First impressions are excellent. It's obviously been winter so dry warm days are none existent but they are certainly gripping beyonde expectation.
Their dry weather grip has been faultless, even when trying to force under steer they grip hard, load up the suspension and corner. When putting the power down progressively to full power they have held with little to no interference from electronic aids, just pure grip and power to the road. Stopping power under braking is harsh, it's exposed the requirement to upgrade my pads as the braking system has been struggling long before loss of grip.
Wet weather grip has been the most impressive quality. I have never had a tyre perform this well in the wet. Very little activation of the TC even when sticking my neck out a little. I hit a lot of standing water last month, enough to completely cover the road surface and found the tyre handled it with ease. The same spot on the M1 on my old hankook winter tyres would have found me wobbling with instability and tipping the wheel tight.
I'm expecting they might be a little soft when it comes to the summer, expectation of bogging down when on the power and getting more role in the tyre when cornering/loading up.
I'm an average driver with an interest toward novice track days. I have a lot of experience with motorcycle race rubber, different compounds and track use. I cover 22,000 miles a year using the Z as a daily commute.
