First thing to check is the temp switch that switches the fan on when its reached the temp, check and clean the connections at the switch and the fan motor end. Is the temp guage reading ok?

D dhobbs Senior member Nov 22, 2020 #3 Assuming you mean the radiator fan then the most common fail is the sense wire that goes into the top of the fan rots. Test it with the engine on, then switch the ac on, the fan should run. If not then checkout the wiring. If you mean the internal heater/cooling fan the please ignore my comments above.
