For the last 5000 miles I've had Continental Contact Sport SSR2's on the front and the original Bridgestones on the back.
The car has been getting increasingly tail happy (much to my amusement). Also very prone to wheel spinning particularly in the recent poor weather (even pulling off the slip way on to the M1 at Redbourn the other day wheel spinning in 3rd doing about 50mph)
With the MoT due I replaced the tired (no pun) old rears with Contis (I actually swapped new ones to the front).
What a difference - in fairness the Bridgestones were beyond legal but the rear is very firmly planted now. I'm pleased to be off the Bridgestones (but still on RFT's).
I paid £120 each fitted (17") which I reckon is a pretty good price for a great quality tyre. (N&C Tyres based in Stevenage - they come out in a van and fit in your driveway).
