Hi All,
In my last car, I had a "Connects 2" ipod connector (http://www.connects2.co.uk/).
It worked wonderfully; it charged the iPod, it displayed the Artist, Album and Track details on-screen on the OEM radio, and the CD changer buttons allowed me to sellect one of the first five playlists (in alphabetical order) arranged on the iPod, with the sixth button being the "on-the-go" playlist.
It came with either a cradle, so you could dash mount the iPod for easy access, or a "stealth" carrier, that could be attached underneath the footwell, the seat, or anywhere out of site (It was a semi-rigid black case, with a soft cotton interior, that just velcro'd to what you wanted to attach it to.
All in all, I would swear by their kit..... for the Ford Focus.
The question is, I did a bit of rummaging around, and saw that they also do a connector for the Z4... and was wondering if anyone else has used it with their Z4 and what results they had?
If no-ones, done so, then I'll probably do it, as the new connector is only £34, so when compared to some of the alternatives, it's quite a cheap experiment... but obviously, if the "research" has already been done...... lol
