Does anyone know if you can connect a tablet to a smartphone to be able to use the bigger touch screen of the tablet as you would your phone (if that makes sense)

Can easily be done with an 8inch tablet instead of a phone.

Will have a look tonight when i get home. Basically its just one box and a phone mount. Install is easy
So guys the cd mount for a tablet is easy to get hold of IPOW from Amazon. Thing that is more difficult to find is the magic box. AUDIOVOX MBR 1500. I have seen an alternative but cant find where i saw it but i will keep looking and let you know when i find it

OK so the audiovox media bridge that i have is bloody impossible to find, so i have had a look for something that will give bluetooth hands free and audio streaming (playing the music from your phone without any physical connection) Looks like this will still keep the steering wheel controls.

so this and the ipow tablet holder will give you what you need.
