Connect my Iphone 5

Hi Guys,

So Im nearly a week into the ownership of my Zed and I cant for the life of me work out how to connect my Iphone to the bluetooth, I tried doing a quick search and a bit of youtubing but cant seem to find a solution that works!

Also I dont have a manual sooo even if I can get my phone to find the car, if it needs a code am I screwed?

If i put photos up of all possible buttons can someone point me in the right direction?

By the way its an 07 Coupe, without satnav.

As for pairing, turn the ignition to the on position, press the connect button on the cradle, and go to general > bluetooth and select the car from there.

The pairing though, it wont find it! I tried doing what you said but my phone just wont find anything...any idea?

Z4 pairing

1) The button in between the seats in the drop down console is the "Bluetooth" button. Hold this for 3 secs and then turn the ignition key to position 1.

2) Release the button and, at this point, the screen should displayed the elusive "PAIRING MODE" message

3) Go to your phone, you should see BMW#### show up as an additional device.

4) Pair device from the bluetooth settings on phone, you'll be asked for the specific Bluetooth Key that was provided with your car.

5) Screen will display "PAIRING...." followed by "PAIRING COMPLETE"

To clear all pairings:

Hold the button in the armrest for about 3 seconds then while keeping it held, turn the ignition key to position 1. Release the button after a further 3 seconds. (This is the same process to initiate pairing)

"Bluetooth Pairing" should be displayed. If not, start again

Press the button again for about 10 seconds and you should see "Paired Devices Deleted"

Then turn the ignition key to off and all is done.

Turning the key to off after pairing or deleting paired devices is important.
