Hi all, I'm probably the oldest noobie on the block. I am no longer a rubber burner or 4wheel drifter (it used to be drugs, sex, and rock'n'roll, and on a good day I can still manage 2 out of 3, but not 3 out of 3).
My driving pleasure these days leans towards gobbling up the miles crossing Europe. So I think I am looking for a post 2012 2 litre. (open to views). The cabin fits me like glove. The outside has more style and elegance than anything else for twice the money. *So 1.8/2.0/2.8?? I am inclined to 2.0 but open to views.
Most I have seen are MSport, but I have seen 2 or 3 that are advertised as not MSport. Beyond the obvious body kit **what was the MSport package post 2012?
In particular if a post 2012 non MSport car has the Comfort/Sport switch to the right of the gear stick ***does it imply that it has MSport spec suspension?
I don't want a hard ride. Clenching my teeth to retain my fillings is not my idea of happy motoring. ****Can MSport suspension fit the bill or should I go for non MSport suspension?
I think you are going to tell me to try them and see how they feel, and that is certainly part of my plan. But I really would welcome the views of people who have driven Z4's for 000's of miles rather than me just relying on a few 10 minute test drives.
I will certainly ditch the run flat tyres whatever I buy but *****how much difference does wheel size make to comfort/handling
I told you I was confused.
Thanks in anticipation.
