Condensation on headlight

Hey Guys

One of my headlights os completely fogged up. The control unit is shot also. Has anyone any suggestions on how to dry it up and keep it dry, and also any tips on where to get the control unit ?

Take the back off and heat it with a heat gun or hair dryer. Just remember to keep it moving. Might be worth checking the seal on the headlight cover. Either replace the whole thing (£15 from BMW) or possibly a smear of grease on it to reseal.

As for the control unit I'd say the usual searches, eBay, dealers........
 
I had slight condensation in my headlights after bulb replacement so I took the foam seal out the cover and put a bead of silicone in the channel and left it to set overnight. Refitted the foam seal which then sat prouder giving more compression when the cover was put back on. Not had any condensation since.
