Condensation front headlamps

Hi folks,

I have the issue of a bit of slight condensation on the front headlamps. I believe there was a discussion on the subject somewhere on the forum. Despite serveral searches and looking back quite a few pages I can't find it.

I do understand that (apparently) some condensation is normal on these cars - but also people seem to have been changing seals/gaskets etc - so is it an issue that should be addressed for the longtime life of the headlamp units?

What I need to know is the part name and number if possible for the covers that include a seal (I believe) . I understand one needs to order the back plate or something to get the seal. I looked up the OEM parts website but wasn't sure it was just those round caps or some more?

Any help on the subject appreciated.

Regards, Mark

if you know anyone with an air compressor that has an air drier fitted just pop a lamp out and blow it in for a few minutes, that will clear it.
A couple of drops of water can mist them up, it does not always mean you have a leak anywhere. As the air warms and cools daily it moves in and out of the lamp.
Try to dry it and see what happens before you spend good money and time on something you don't need to do.
