Complete sound generator for N52 engine / facelift E85

Hi folks, selling the sound generator from my old roadster. I took it off before selling the car so it’s complete (has the foams in, the extra torx screw (forgot to include in photo!) and the rubber bulkhead washer). I bought it used, bought the washer and screw from BMW as it didn’t come with them, fitted it and ran it for about 30k miles.

For reference I believe it’s the same part for the 3.0 and 2.5 N52 engine - please check if you’re unsure - but it fitted my 2.5 just fine. Realoem if your friend here - I’ve photographed the part numbers anyway.

Includes everything in the purple circle/weird line below, except the hose clamps (2 and 5 I think) which should already be on the car securing the existing ‘non sound generator’ bit (The hose clamps are the big ones from the air box and into the engine).

How does £120 posted sound?

From my experience fitting one to wifey's 2.5 (M54 version), I would suggest leaving the foam in place to begin with and see what you think.

Then it is a simple task to access the bit at the bulkhead end from inside the car and pull that out to make it a bit louder.

I stopped there as it was plenty for her, but of course the foam at the other end requires a few more minutes work to get out.
