I'm bumping this to see if there is any updates. Now that I'm here on these UK back roads I realize oem halogen's are very lacking, even with expensive bulbs in. It's basically to the point where I really would prefer not to drive at night.
I'd rather not pay for a whole headlight assy ($515 on realoem) to see if it's the lense fogged that is causing my lack of visibility.

Just adjust them up one or two turns, it's what I and many others have done, the brighter bulbs on there own do nothing, but two complete turns on the height adjuster makes the world of difference. You might need less, I know my lights are set to mid limit before adjustment.

X2, easiest and cheapest mod going to improve useless OEM Halogens. (It's the white adjuster with a 5mm allen socket in it IIRC)
