Wondermike posted the answer here a while back: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=27640&p=380560&hilit=comfort+pack#p380560

Boogle, thanks for digging that out.

Most of the items are standard on a 3.0 anyway, I don't know why BMW bothered with it. The E89 comfort pack is much more involved (and expensive).

Just checked my E85 and surprised to find nets on the back of the seats - how useless are they!

I use mine for the yellow jackets that the French demand we have in our cars

Hmm. Always thought mine had comfort pack. Guess my sig needs updated then...

Just noticed that under my door handles I have what looks like lights for handle illumination but they either don't work or they're not what they look like. Do they just have a standard handle with the preparation for illumination as standard and then either put it in or not as spec'd? I have front and rear pdc, heated seats, auto lights and wipers and the wind deflector so sounds like I may have the comfort pack and so should have the lights in the handles?

They must just be like that 'just incase'

The spec for comfort pack back in 2009/2010 2010/2011 was and still is I believe.

Comfort package
Package contains the following options:
– 544 Cruise control with brake function
– 563 Extended lighting
– 430 Interior and exterior mirrors, folding, auto-dimming
– 508 Park Distance Control (PDC), front and rear
– 493 Storage compartment package
– 387 Wind deflector

Fair enough, thanks. I have the folding mirrors too but not auto, have to press a button. No cruise control or extended storage though :(

The folding mirrors only work by the button, the auto part refers to auto dimming. They dim like the rear view mirror. Bit weird but they work.
