M markeg Elite Lincolnshire Wolds Jun 5, 2012 #2 Take the insert out, and use a torx bit to remove the holding screw. Then gently lever it out - watch out for catching the trim though. Look at this link(its a coupe but ashtray fitting is standard for roadsters also)

K koolchris99 Active member Jun 19, 2012 #6 got them out, its just a simple screw then the whole unit comes out. I also reconnected the cable the 2p had knocked out so my lighter works again.
