Hey everyone this is my first post here and I was looking to do some mods to my Z4 3.0 si coupe, its a 2007. I was considering getting a set of coilovers in the summer when the car is driven, I am already getting some new Michelin pilot sport 4s and want to get some new rims eventually. I'm really looking to improve the ride quality and be able to push this thing hard. I was wondering if coilovers are worth it for the Z4 and if so what exactly would be the best option. Really trying to get the unsprung weight down before I move to the exhaust and further mods.

I run Stance+ Ultra coil overs and cannot fault them and i've had a few in my time. Depends what you want at the end of the day, if you want comfort and handling then invest in some KW's or if you are after a dropped look with also comfort then i cant fault the Stance+ coil overs, its all preference and how much you are wiling to spend. 
Get an idea for how they sit also, this is on 18s with decent chunky tires to add to the comfort, tire profile says a lot about ride quality.

I am very interested in the stance+ coil overs, but they are getting mixed reviews. How long have you had them and did you have any issues with fitting them? Can you also tell me if you needed any other parts to fit them (shorter drop links, etc..). Thanks.
I didn't i bought the car with them fitted however i have fitted many myself in the past. The coil overs are very easy to fit, you use your standard top mounts and mounting points, you just unbolt the old suspension and bolt the new coil over struts in, the rears i believe are a lowering spring with adjuster then a separate shock absorber, these are very easy to fit.breezyloco said:HU51A_FU said:

I bought them on the car as mentioned above however they had done little to no miles. I would advise running shorter drop links which Stance+ can also supply.
