coilovers for e85 and e86, are they the same?

I don't find many option on coilovers for e86. If a coilover fits for example 04+ e85 z4, will it also fit non M e86? Thanks for the reply.

Suggest you make contact with the original maker/supplier they should confirm the fit.

The strut part numbers are different for both front & rear struts for the 3.0si coupé & roadster (the only non-M combo where there's a coupé as well as a roadster) in both standard and M-sport configs - don't know what the physical differences are but would assume it's to due with valving for the different weights of the cars. Can't find the part numbers for the springs, but from memory they were different too.

Although saying all that, it doesn't answer the question as to whether or not they'll fit or work. As has been said, check with the supplier - if the supplier doesn't know then don't use that supplier.

I did called some of their reseller (I am looking to go for H&R or V2) and they can't tell me either. I don't blame them because there aren't many 3.0si coupe. If the strut it's different it's fine with me, it's probably different valving like you said. I just want to make sure they fit, driving on a 4x4 height really makes me crazy!
