Hi All

Has anyone (B21) upgraded the coils with something like the link below?? They claim to have tested it on a 35i with gains across the rev range so interested on any actual feedback.

There are few different versions of this idea..fitting B58 coils to N54s..

I used these..

I think for OTS tunes / stock I don’t think they offer much if any benefit over a brand new set of stock coils and plugs.

They may offer an advantage with higher boost pressures associated with uprated turbos..

That’s coming from someone who tried fresh stock coils (NGK) and the Nexsys kit.

But don’t let that stop you buying them !

I talked to a pro tuner ref this upgrade and he basically stated that unless you are on a VERY high output tune they simply have zero benefit....
