you can disable it via the indicator stick if you can't wait until after your MOT (not that it would be a reason for failure?) or just leave the cable plugged into the module protuding from the trim in the boot so you can plug it to your laptop without tearing the trim apart.

Hi. I have the keyless comfort entry fitted to my car. Are you saying that I can close the roof remotely by holding down the lock button ?

I'm probably confused. The original question was
"How can we code the roof to close while pressing the lock button?"
On my previous Z4 (60 35i) you couldn't close the roof via the remote, only open it. I've no idea what "smart roof" is.

Stark said:Andy remember you can open and close your roof with your key, just hold the open part to open the roof and the close part on the key to close the roof. Just keep it pressed down during the entire operation
