coding replacement clocks (instrument cluster)

Hi guys, the dot matrix display went on my car (on the way to MOT of course). I have a replacement set which work ok but the ABS/Traction lights are on which I believe I can code out. I got ones with the same part number.

Ive searched a lot of posts but maybe my situation makes life a little easier:

- I don't care about the mileage
- I don't care about the tamper dot

If its not a case of coding, and the clocks need to be virginised again (ouch), has anyone swapped the dot matrix display over on its own so I can keep my original clocks?

Any help appreciated. Im not savvy with the coding tools but I have inpa/ncs expert etc and a cable that works.

I have swapped the eeprom chips over from a faulty cluster to a good cluster

That will give your your mileage and car info on the donor clocks

Drop me a note if you need more info

if its not a complete faff Id be willing to give it a go!

Surely the abs and traction lights would be signalled from the faulty component? I can't work out why the instrument cluster would retain them, but even if it did, as the faults aren't on your car surely a simple reset with a decent code reader should clear them?
If not then I'd be suspecting some kind of circuitry issue in the replacement cluster.
