Coding - remote roof and automatic window (NCS expert)

I got my cable today and managed to reset the airbag light using INPA. I thought while I have everything working I may just as well code a couple of the options on my Z4...

Has anyone done any of the following (using NCs expert or other) and maybe know which codes I need to look for:
- enable opening and closing of roof using the remote
- one touch passenger window closing
- full circle break lights
- disable warning beep sound if key is in ignition

Great, just what I was looking for! Thanks!

Any idea if it is possible to activate KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB (convertible top opens by holding the open button on remote..Or opens all windows & sun roof on non convertible) in SSS?

Does 1 TOUCH FUCTION TURN SIGNAL FLASH only work on the facelift model?

I've not yet had the balls to try coding  My Intravee provides the one function I wanted. (one touch, multi flash indicators) There is some debate on whether this will work on pre-facelift cars. Only those with facelift appear to have tried so far though.

AFAIK, if it says NCS Expert on the list, that's what's needed. If it says SSS, either will do it.

One touch indicator only works on facelift cars or if you have intravee.

KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB this can only be done in NCSexpert not SSS

Curious as well. Have one of those packages too, but still didn't get all the software to work correctly on my 64 bit windows 7 though. The 1-touch passenger window and comfort/remote function for the roof is very interesting :-)

The reason is some of the software won't work on a 64bit platform.

That's no problem. I managed to run everything fine, just install INPA in compatibility mode and then run the rest through on XP on a virtual machine

Interesting as this has been talked about on coding forum and most say not all the software will work properly on a 64 bit pc.

OK I've got the BMWCables.com package, loaded all the software, read ALL the PDF and doc files, had a play........... and am stumped, I wish I could read abbreviated German technical terms! :(

As far as coding goes I really only wanted to enable roof open with the key in NCSexpert. I've gathered I'd be looking for Activate KOMFORTOEFFNUNG_FB in module GMB5 but can't for the life of me work out what profiles etc to select to get there after opening NCS expert. Has anybody seen a step-by-step guide for this? I've searched but guides I've found are for different models and functions.

Any pointers to a step-by-step would be appreciated :)

I have a 2005 pre facelift & at one time had it coded onto my key.

You need to keep you finger pressed on the open/close button continuously & sometimes used to stop half way - probably an old battery.

Just invest in a Gaptech, quote the forum & he still tends to honour his discounted price even though date has passed - worth every penny for automated open/closing.

Cheers Jembo, I'll keep in mind but would liked to have given this a go as I just don't like being beaten :)

Thank you Mac, exactly what I was looking for

I'll digest it and proceed more carefully having read this, looks like I nearly did a horrible mischief by selecting something this guide says DONT do! Plug & play this aint!
