Clutch Slipping???

3.0L SMG 03 Reg.

Dont know if its my driving style and it only happens when in Sport mode but when you change up and press the loud button fairly quickly the revs drop and then recover/rise. It does not do it in normal mode and I have also had it in 4/5/6 gear on uphill and it just goes without issue no apparent slip.

Question is is this a normal process? If I have it in Sport mode which is most of the time :thumbsup: and just leisurely lift off when gear changing there isnt an issue just when I want to push it a bit :cry:
 
i was going 70 with the sports button on the other day, turned it off and i felt the car slow and revs drop by a few hundred. think its just the program difference. if thats what you mean
 
Don't know if SMG has a CDV, but before I had my CDV rwmoved that happened if I dropped into 2nd or 3rd and rapidly engaged clutch with the loud pedal nailed to the carpet.... revs would hiccup before rising again?

Not sure if this helps. As said above, clutch slip sees the revs soar whilst speed stays the same

Adamski that sounds like the issue its going in for a service 2 on Thurs so might ask my indy if its owt to worry about, cheers. deffo not clutch slip as you describe :thumbsup:
