Clutch pedal bite height-

Hi all,yapping on about clutch bite points a work today,and as no one there has owned a car from new can anyone say roughly what height the car/zed will move without the fast pedal being touched?(i know this will probably vary from car to car but generally)-thanks

I would imagine every car would be different

And as most of them have cdv 's the true position of the 'bite' point will not be evident

But mine without a cdv is about an inch to two inches of travel from fully down

I believe the peddle is self adjusting so the pesle position gives no indication of how worn it is

Why do you think other is worn?

Does it slip?

Well unless lots done moon ship mileage or is slipping I wouldn't worry

There plenty of bm's about with over 120k on the original clutch
