Clutch delay valve

Hi all,

I'm after a clutch delay valve for a z4 e85 m54 engine so I can modify it and swap it out for my standard valve, if anyone has one pre modified even better?

Regards,

Joe

I could take it out and modify it but then I run the risk of bleeding the system dry, would be easier to swap it out whilst I'm there, also I have read that you can just remove and join the pipes together I'm told that there should be enough flex in the hose.

I guess my thinking is if I have a spare valve ready to go I've prepared myself for any eventuality whilst underneath the car.

Joe there's only one suitable place for a CDV, and it's in the scrap pile!

Haha yeah your right about the cdv belonging in the scrap pile, I've had the car since May have put over a thousand miles on it and whilst I can now pull off smoothly and change into second smoothly it's just no fun at how slow and precise you have to bring the clutch pedal up to avoid the jerkiness and even then I still find it unpredictable.

When I drive my daily a fiesta ecoboost its so much more fun in stop start traffic and pulling out of junctions the z4 makes me drive like a granny until I get into third gear, I just can't believe Bmw thought that was acceptable on a performance car.

Anyway thanks for all the advice and apologies for starting a cdv thread in the marketplace.

It was a reasonable question, but now you could go back to edit your first post then you can change the attribute to NO LONGER WANTED.

Anyway welcome to the forum.
