Changed my rear springs today for the second time..
Whilst pulling down on the hub to open gap wide enough to get spring in. It took some force...there was a loud dong ,..from some where under the car..

I couldnt see anything that was loose or had been moved from situ.
Today I test drove the car and got a simalar singular dong from the rear ..similar to the sound when forcing swinging arm down to open gap to get spring in..
It's not a constant nock..but I'm wondering what I could've disturbed..
Didn't have this issue when changed the springs previously..
Fand ollowed the same method as before..
Any thoughts what it could be..?

Some how I thought that was gonna be the answer..
But was hoping it wasn't gonna be the answer :D
Annoying, to think I'm replacing stuff that's broken(springs) and end up with another problem..
Was it as hard as your previous posts suggested..?

It’s not the worst job

However your challenge now if doing it on the drive is the cold

Heat will help you get the old ones off the anti roll bar and putting the new ones in boiling water will make the rubber more pliant

Make sure you have had your weetabix
