Clicking rear brakes?

Did a discs and pads change (used Black Diamond for both pads and discs - Predator pads and drilled & slotted discs) on the Coupe a few weeks ago. They've definitely had time and miles to bed them in by now, and are very effective, so am perfectly happy with them in that sense.

Unfortunately, under 'medium' braking, the rear brakes make a clicking sound. It's approximately once per revolution of the disk, so slows with road speed. It's most noticeable below 30 mph - due to less tyre/engine noise, plus generally 30 mph means buildings for the noise to reverberate from, but it does also do it at higher speeds.

I do not feel anything untoward in the pedal or the steering wheel, which suggests it's not warped discs or anything out of alignment.

I've tried the following:
  • I put new anti rattle clips on the rear, and checked the pad fit again which seems ok. I did notice the pad 'ears' don't appear to completely fill the gap between the carrier and caliper, but thought any noise from this would be a single noise per brake action, not repeating
  • I've tried the hard stop to remove pad material process, but it doesn't make any difference
  • I also bled the brakes at the time of fitting, though might do it again to see if it helps
Searches bring up a single click or clunk upon application of the brakes (often a stuck caliper piston), but nothing relating to this, and I'm stumped by it to be honest.

Any ideas?
 
Did you readjust the handbrake via the bolt hole?
Try applying the handbrake gently and see if it stops the noise or changes it when braking

eliminates one possibility
 
I did (had to loosen them to begin with to get the old discs off) adjust the handbrake shoes yes. I am wondering whether to replace the springs on the shoes for a separate issue (when disengaging the hand brake after being parked the handbrake squeals, though if I jump on the brake quickly the noise goes away until the next cold movement).

Tried braking with the hand brake engaged last night, same noise though unfortunately.
 
Certainly all is not well with the handbrake if it squeals as described. Have bedded it in by driving 100m or so with it applied with constant firm pull?
Needs doing to mate to the new inner rotor faces.

As for the clicking I'd get the car jacked up, wheel off and rotate it. Try with engine on Idle and in bottom gear. Should be able to find the source. Brakes, rotor driveshaft, etc
 
I have already done the handbrake break in - it's improving every time and I think it's no longer squealing so that's positive.

Found that one of the rear pad's springs (that holds it into the piston of the caliper) has broken which can't be helping. Will be changing pads to something else (just need to decide what)...
