Clicking Noise

Does anyone driving an M Coupe hear a clicking noise from the glovebox area when the windscreen wipers start/stop ?? It has appeared from nowhere and the dealers are telling me its normal!??

A couple of no's would really help my sanity...I can't stand bloody car dealers!!

Can't say I've heard it myself, but I've usually got the stereo on and there's a fair bit of noise once you're over 120

Yeah ive noticed that - every time the wipers come on when you are in "auto mode" it clicks once. If they are on continuously theres no problem.

Its a little bit annoying but i wasnt sure if it was normal or not.

Ask em to check it on one of their M coupe's - id like to know if they all do it.

I've never noticed it on my Z4 before, but it sounds like a noisy relay for the wipers.

Mine does - assume it's a relay.

Mines the same! its just the wiper relay.
