Click sound on rear suspension

Hi all,

I keep my car in a secure lockup at the end of a cobbled cul de sac which has a very uneven surface. The past few times I have got the car out I noticed a click or clacking sound from what appears to be the nearside rear suspension. I have the fancy dampers fitted but no leaks there.

I am guessing bushes or similar, anyone else come across this?

Car has under 30k miles!

No but broken spring?

Sounds like a broken spring to me. May be that the spring has become unseated as they need to be turned to the correct angle to seat properly.

I know this may sound silly, but have you checked the roof? I recently had the same noise from mine. Had it up on a friends lift and checked all rear suspension, nothing was found. Once the roof had been up and down a few times, the noise has disappeared.

Spring, gone through two sets on mine and think another one has gone as well. Sound is right behind your head it seems
