Clearing Windscreen,,,?

Hi..

It's that time of year when the old windscreen needs demisting before you can drive away..

What position should the dial be to direct air onto the windscreen,,?

I have put the dial to 12 o clock on the UP arrow and no air comes out the vents by the windscreen..so I tried the dial in various positions until air came out of the vents and the dial had to be pointing straight down at 6o clock before they worked..is this right,,?

I,m thinking the dial knob must have been off at some point and been put back on upside down...?

Sounds like your knob is on upside down.

(no sniggering at the back)

Press the button in the middle of the left hand knob
 
I must admit, I keep the air con on all the time. Never really noticed the problem. But as Talkthetorque suggests, the middle button on the left hand dial should clear it super quick.
 
I have pressed that button but nothing came out of the vents while the dial was pointing up.. :?

I reckon the dial knob is definitely on upside down..I will try the quick clear button tomorrow with the dial facing down and see what happens..
 
Unless your a/c is in transport mode.

As above though with roof and windows up I run a/c all the time.
