Clearance

So far I have not bottomed the 3.0 Sdrive on any sleeping policemen but wondered if anyone could advise on the potential poo traps. Particularly, has anyone got information on the clearance when crossing the channel on the Plymouth - Roscoff ferry. I have been on it before in another car and, although I didn't suffer a grounding, the ramp leading to the upper car deck appears that it might be a close run thing with the zed.

Grateful for any advise on this ferry or indeed other methods of transport that could bring the shiny new thing to a grinding halt.

Sorry, forgot to add that I have 19 inch RFTs.

It's been fine with my 35i. I went to Roscoff last year and it was fine.....I do hit some sleeping policemen in the UK but rarely do I scrape the underside ..

Just be careful going on and off with the front end.....do it slowly

I wouldn't worry. I' ve never grounded mine. Its not a low car in my opinion (ground clearance wise). The low roof just gives you that illusion. :)

It reminds me of a dent that appeared just behind rear wheel arch of a RX7 i owned. Bit of a mystery how it got there.

Then one day as i saw it being lifted on a MOT ramp at a friends garage, the lead on ramps flopped down and the opposite end smacked the sill just behind the rear wheel arch.

That solved the mystery.
