Clear Rear Lights

Hey everyone,

I've seen these over on eBay Germany:

I do like them apart from they are 'too clear' a bit too boy racer Lexus lights style! What I'm after is all four areas to be the same, so red outer circle and clear inner circle. I've seen some before like this, on here (pics of other members cars) but never for sale so assume they must be modded?

I've also seen some before from the same seller which from what I've seen quite a few people on here have purchased. However they are almost what I'm after but the fog light is all red which to me looks a little unsymmetrical...or am I just being a bit OCD?! They are also quite a few euros...

What shall I do?!
 
What you're describing are for sale and are OEM parts. I bought mine from ebay.de about a year ago but can't see any on there at the moment. I absolutely detest tinting spray so that was a non starter.
 
Yes likewise, I don't really want to spray or mod them in anyway, just want some nice lights. The ones you mention that you have, is the fog light all red or have you got 4 matching clear spots...?
 
Neither! I've gone for rare twin spots (rather than quad spots you describe) with a red fog and a red reversing lights. I've relocated the reversing light into the indicator housing. A bit trick and looks very clean.

or you can just live with the 3 white spots like mine

i bought those clear lights from germany and then tinted the outside bits, giving me 4 spot rear lights:

I did it a bit differently. Picked up a set of 3 white spot lights, then a lens off a German Z4. Grafted together I made myself a set of 'proper' quad white spots with nah a tint in site. Stood the test of time with a few years use.

Navid yes I could live with it but if I can get it how I want it first time then I will. Don't get me wrong yours and Bradders look great but really want the 4 outer red 4 inner clear look and assume the only way I'll get this is by using tinting spray...?

So just to clarify then, the 2 types of clear lights are the ones you have pictured Navid and the ones Ben has posted, albeit pre tint spray mod!

Are both of these OEM?? Can only seem to find them on German eBay and the 3 clear spot ones seem to be about €60 more?!

I purchased OEM clear kit from a BMW dealer here in the USA and they were exactly like the ones in Ben g's post.

I wonder if one is us spec and other is euro spec. We don't do rear fog lights here
