Hi all-any tips? tried a search but to no avail,im after doing this with the wheels still on-i have hosed it down but obviously it dries grey,do you use a sponge, brush or what?-ive washed and waxed my car today and the arches are letting her down-thanks

Every week, I use bilberry for removing heavy soiling, snowfoam (left to remove/moisten remaining muck), a wheel brush for agitating, rinse, then apply Meguiars tyreshine. At least twice a year I remove the wheels and give it a 'damn good seeing too' <said in best Stephen Fry/Melchott voice> - once in Spring and once in Autumn. But there again I'm a bit anal with the cleaning :D

Thanks Andy - knew what you meant :)

Car is back home on the drive, have done a full check-over and it looks like there is no internal damage. Headlights are also fine (that was a big relief!). Just put on some spare grills (after spraying black etc) so its looking better. Will still be washed tomorrow, otherwise I'd be stuck with nothing to do on a Sunday

Give them a good clean with a soft brush and Megs APC,rinse, leave to dry and dress with Chemical Guys Bare Bones. A great product and a little goes a long way.
